- – Testing showed no starter control from ignition switch when in start position, if pushing key into column while starting it will start. Recommended ignition switch. After getting new switch on hand, it was discovered that the issue goes deeper beyond the switch. The ignition lock which connects the lock cylinder with the switch is worn was worn out. Ignition lock housing assembly which is inclusive of switch needed. – Tech also noted clunking noise in front end. Upon inspection he found the front passenger wheel bearing bad allowing wheel to wobble around. Recommend replace as soon as possible. There is rust in this area which may lead to complications and additional parts and/or labor. –
