Services Performed
- European/Corvette Engine Oil & Filter Service
- CABIN AIR FILTER – Remove & Replace
- – Filter appears to be original to vehicle based on one-time use clamps which are still in place.
- – Battery testing bad at 265 CCA, spec is 750 CCA. We will try charging battery but likely it will need a new battery. –
- BATTERY – Remove & Replace
- – Valve cover is leaking on exhaust. –
- – Seat working as designed. Seat reclines and moves forward and back. Switch has other adjustment options that seat is not equipped with, there are no motors to adjust height up and down on the passenger seat. –
- – No concerns with belts or hoses at this time – Coolant ratio good at this time. Transmission fluid level good, filter is a little dirty in appearance. Normal service recommendation is at 80K miles, an earlier service would be at the customer's discretion just for preventative maintenance. – Spark plugs will be recommended at a later date based on normal mileage recommendations (100K), unless misfire issues occur prior to normal intervals. –
- – No access to module through either Chrysler or Mercedes. verified pressure are correct. Unfortunately, we would need to refer this issue to a dealer service center for further diagnostic –
- – No concern found with engine noise at this time. With valve covers removed tech turned engine over and inspected for play in lifters and rocker arms, none found. At this time engine noise would be deemed normal. –
- – 3 out of 7 cylinders are leaking. We would need to utilize the option #2 format so we have all parts on hand and then return the parts for a credit when complete. We would have to hold the core charge until vendor reimburses us to ensure parts are rebuildable. –
