    • – Codes P0300 {random misfire} & P050D {rough idle at cold start). Tech unable to duplicate issue at this time. Removed spark plug, inspected and found no damage on plug or valve train. Inspected freeze frame data and found issue is in the first start of the morning, with cylinders 2 & 4 missing. Research shows this is commonly due to a faulty injector. Due to being a direct injected design they are not easy to test and upper and lower manifold gasket labor is needed to complete diagnostic testing. If fuel injector is proven to be out of spec injector replacement time will be needed to complete repair. – Tech removed intake and tested each injector and found nothing pointing to the issue at this time (all 1.4 ohm). He has cleared codes and installed the 44K fuel additive. At this time we suggest driving and if light comes back we will re-check. –

    • – Found code P0119 {engine coolant sensor circuit intermittent} Tech reviewed freeze frame data and found sensor would intermittently read 40 degrees. This caused AC to go off because engine did not know temp and went into overheating mode. Going to recommend an OEM coolant temp sensor. – The tire pressure monitoring sensor error seems to be coincidental. This would need to be serviced at a tire specialist (Big O or Discount Tire). –
