– Found bulb in good condition, tested for continuity from connector to bulb and found an open circuit. Further inspection show the bulb contact is not retained in its position and falls forward, losing contact with bulb. You can see in pictures the gap is the problem and you can't secure contact back into position (Broken plastic). New bulb housing needed –

– Tech performed compression test on right bank and found cylinder #1 has 34 psi, and leak down test failed with 85-90% leakage (anything over 10% is bad). Boroscoped and found cylinder #1 exhaust valve burnt. – Need cylinder head gasket removal and machine work to repair. Anytime we have an internal engine failure there is a possibility of unseen damage. Our repair estimate will include all we can reasonably expect, but cost my go up if additional faults are found after tear down or machining. – –

– Manually opened top and found the tops weatherstripping torn and getting stuck under rear lid when opening top. This is causing the rear lid to not latch. Once the lid is latched the top will work, but you have to move the weatherstripping out of the way with every use. Repair will require someone who repairs or replaces convertible tops. –
