    • – Codes P0300 {random misfire} & P050D {rough idle at cold start). Tech unable to duplicate issue at this time. Removed spark plug, inspected and found no damage on plug or valve train. Inspected freeze frame data and found issue is in the first start of the morning, with cylinders 2 & 4 missing. Research shows this is commonly due to a faulty injector. Due to being a direct injected design they are not easy to test and upper and lower manifold gasket labor is needed to complete diagnostic testing. If fuel injector is proven to be out of spec injector replacement time will be needed to complete repair. – Tech removed intake and tested each injector and found nothing pointing to the issue at this time (all 1.4 ohm). He has cleared codes and installed the 44K fuel additive. At this time we suggest driving and if light comes back we will re-check. –

    • – Testing showed no starter control from ignition switch when in start position, if pushing key into column while starting it will start. Recommended ignition switch. After getting new switch on hand, it was discovered that the issue goes deeper beyond the switch. The ignition lock which connects the lock cylinder with the switch is worn was worn out. Ignition lock housing assembly which is inclusive of switch needed. – Tech also noted clunking noise in front end. Upon inspection he found the front passenger wheel bearing bad allowing wheel to wobble around. Recommend replace as soon as possible. There is rust in this area which may lead to complications and additional parts and/or labor. –

    • – Found passenger front brake locking up. Opened brake system in multiple areas of circuit and found the brake hose to caliper has failed, not releasing pressure from the caliper. Shaking may be due to warping from extra heat due to sticking caliper. However, we recommend starting with both front brake hoses and a brake fluid flush and then retesting. – The battery is testing bad at 175 CCA, spec is 600 CCA. Vehicle would not start after checking codes. Recommend new battery – Passenger lower control arm bushing is blown (sloppy), and driver side is similar. Recommend both lower control arms with wheel alignment – Oil change is due based on sticker –
